Inner Revloutions

Rolling through the bowels

Inside this well light can

Oh the many fouls

Have been committed by this man

At night when I’m alone

Just me and my reflections

I think where has all the time gone

Such are life’s imperfections

Half your life you try to figure out

The answers to un lock the doors

And when you do no doubt

You wonder what good is it for

Inner revolutions

Turning against oneself

Time to fight the pollution

No more of self destruct

Improving is the constant

Never ceasing

Must be tbetter is resonant

The chant as it increases

First as an idea

A mere play of the mind

By the end its clear

You can not fight it you’ll find

From the bottom up

Does rise revolt

Not by choice but cause it must

Like the roots breaking through asphalt

Uprise and be heard

Fear not  speaking your inner thoughts

For it would be  absurd

And leave you so distraught

Don’t take the quick fix

Or the short way

Instead do this

Make a change today
